The Chris King ISO Boost Rear Hub for 148x12 Thru Axle and Shimano Micro Spline driveshell is a precision mountain tool.

The mountain bike hub uses one-piece solid axles to provide a stiff hub that will allow your rear suspension to work better and drive every watt into the ground beneath you. The ISO B hubs have heavy duty seals and a threaded driveshell seal ring to prevent mud, water, and contaminants from hindering your ride.

The hub comes with either steel or ceramic bearings, which are made in-house by Chris King. The bearings have heat-treated, surgical steel races. The quality and speed of Chris King bearings sets the Portland, USA manufacturer apart from the competition. As Chris King bearing tracks burnish, they get faster with age. The hubs and bearings are fully serviceable for years of use.

The patented Chris King RingDrive with 72-points of engagement gets power to the ground fast and provides unmatched engagement.

The Shimano Micro Spline driveshell makes this mountain bike hub compatible with Shimano’s XTR, XT, and SLX mtb groupsets.
