The XDR drive shell utilised in this hub is compatible with SRAM’s latest 12-speed drivetrains but can run existing 11-speed drivetrains using a 1.85mm spacer. If you’re looking to give yourself the option to run the very latest drivetrain technology, then this hub is ideal.
